Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Pictures of your snow weapons

The owner also states to a query that the tractor is not pushed sideways even when working deeper snow, though there must be some counter force.

The tractor has split (steering) brakes (note the two brake pedals to the right of the operator's station) and the operator knows how to use 'em.
Sounds like a one cylinder diesel and definitely a low reving engine.

I'm not sure if you're right. While the tractor does have two brake pedals the gas pedal is inboard of them on the same side.Must be quite a dance to achieve braked steering! And a couple of times one can clearly see the wheels steering the plow. Not saying you're wrong just not sure if that it is the case. It's interesting if the little thing does manage to push the snow aside without correction from the brakes.
Plow and mount well designed? Good angle?

I saw several of these pull behind 2 stage blowers in Montreal last week. Although one was clearing the parking lane on one street, I assume they're meant for driveway clearing where you back up to the garage, drop the little blade, pull ahead far enough to get the blower behind it then have at it.

I just finished building the plow from scratch and reused parts of the mold board from an really old plow. I also added a new cylinder to the chute deflector. We just can't seem to get enough snow to use it this year.

Looks like we're all dressed up with no where to go?

All green and brown around here, last year this time we had record snow :confused2:

I heard there is some significant lake effect snow out there, not here though.

Added some extra weight to my little guy. and a pic of the fleet a couple of years ago.

The last two winters we have had enough snow that I wished I had the tractor. Today we have had flurries and there is still three months left of winter.
