thanks i have about 6 of my neighbors to do

I would think walking the blower would be easier. Doesn't the mower get stuck in anything over a couple inches?

I am all set for this year...if it snows...but then again I am not complaining. Little different set-up this year. The rear blade was modified to pin to the loader arms and the remainder of the rear blade parts were made into a weight box/utility box.

Do you have anymore pics of this? I like that setup. I'm building a loader for my beaver and have been thinking about an idea for a snow plow attactment!

Now thats a snow beast...care to share info etc.

Here's the link to the write up I did last year when I moved the blower up front in the Build it yourself forum.
http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/build-yourself/187397-max-snow-beast-finished.html

I intended to make a cab for it and started using a Jeep top as below. It looked cool as heck but found I had no visibility with it, so intend to make one using Wallyworld clear vinyl, fastened with velcro. I'll only have to frame in the door on one side and will probably put a glass windshield so I can use a wiper. If you need a windshield, flat glass from pickup, bus etc windows work good with a mullion between to make it wider if necessary. As for The vinyl yard goods from Wally's durability, I built drop down shutters for my porch with it 5 years ago and it still looks like the day we put it up.

Thought you guys might like this:-

So simple yet effective.
All the big heavy gear is ok for lots of snow but mostly it's overkill for light clearing.
And I bet this little fella uses a lot less of our dwindling resources.
Happy New Year to you All

No not mine. But says on the added German notes that the plow was 26 years old in 2011.Tractor is 1954. The plough is homemade. The owner also states to a query that the tractor is not pushed sideways even when working deeper snow, though there must be some counter force. Having the plough close to the front must help.
Have a good one.
