Thanks for the advice. And yes, I put a load of firewood in the back. Gives me some weight and it can cure at the same time..

The stradegy is sound on your plowing. But as the others said, you gotta slightly angle that first pass if you have any high Oneonta snow. But yeah, let gravity help move the big load then you can do half blades back up the hill.

Hmm, Northport and Oneonta... I'm Wading River and Summit. we are about 40 minutes from each other whether we are on LI or up here. we just got 4" of the white stuff yesterday Good luck

Thanks! It is brand new. Love the tractor so far. Did some bucket work with it before putting the blower on it. The driveway is just over a quarter mile long and we have parking for 10 cars and a 100 yard path to the barn. I'm waiting for snow!
dpgoalie, beautiful setup you have. Everything looks brand new. How much clearing do you have to do?

Interesting tire tread....is that a new type of turf tire? I'm wondering how that will work in snow as I was happy with the Titan turfs on my NH tractor.

It is a 2002 Terra Track Wildcat, copied off the Cushman Trackster with some modifications. More power , engine in rear. I had been looking for a Cushman Trackster but found this near where I live, it had extra lights, hydraulic outlets both front and rear and had 6 foot hydraulic angle and hydraulic up and down snow plow all set up which was more than I originally wanted. So ready to try out on my steep driveway.

Don't know a thing about them, but looks like it would be a beast on slopes! Give us an update when you get some snow to push around.

The turf tires seems to work fine in the snow. No loss of grip I can tell. They might be newer for the Kubota M4. They are Firestone 10 ply turf tires.
