Still shiny... **** you "El Nino" and this excellent weather. So much for living in the NE OH snow belt...

Could you post more info on this? I have a GC2600 and I've been thinking of doing some sort of front blade for a while now.

Hard to imagine blowing snow when it's almost 70 degrees in MA.

Finally some seat time.
Lots of learning to do.
I am used to going backwards with a rear blade.
Being warm when plowing rocks!http://youtu.be/dUXwRWmP95w

Also be pushing snow once the storm passes on,which may mean more snow for you Supertaster.

I am ok with that. I need the practice. I am having a hard time finding the proper settings for the FEL. I seem to have the "curl" too far back. It's to keep the blade from digging into the gravel but that is screwing up the paint on the mounting plate of the blade. The shoes are one spacer from full height. I may need to go the extra one until things freeze. 15cm-20cm is being forecast. -11C last night. That's a big change from Christmas Eve when it was 14C.
I better fill the fuel cans today haha.

Western 7.5' truck blade I welded to a SSQA bracket with chain float. Bought the blade, mount and pump for $400, sold the pump and mount for $250, bought the SSQA plate for $120. So I have a total of $270 into the front blade setup. In back the Frontier RB2308 8' - though I have the "tilt" cylinder removed for snow just offset and angle.

Works awesome! Also have a newer Cub Cadet tracked blower I despise, have owned it a few years and maybe 4 hours total on it.

That not be good for the loader or the teeth.... lot's of speed ??

Out scraping down steep driveways with the bucket on the loader.. Hit a rock really hard and it jolted me so hard I nearly broke my teeth.

I've done it before. My plow has a trip edge. If I hit something taller than that, bang. I hate it, but no detectable damage.

I'm having the same issue, trying to determine how much curl and how many spacers are needed until the ground freezes. Takes some practice for sure.. My other issue is steering when plowing up/down hills, hope my new chains fix some of this challenge.

Nice video!

With all the snow in the East, seems we would be having more great pics showing up.

I got a V plow this year. It's the first time I have used one and so far, it's amazing how much time it saves. Fewer passes, less spill off, and the weight allows it to scrape down to pavement a bit better. = less salt = less $ I have to spend.
