Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Pictures of your snow weapons

Finally get to add pics to this awesome thread. Over the summer I found a sweet deal on a JD Blade for the 4100,, complete set up...It did awesome for our first snow a few weeks ago.. so much so a neighbor
who handles the property management of the local food lion about a 1/4 mile away asked if I would be interested in trying the parking, he wasn't happy with the current crew ( small Bob Cat with bucket and slick tires, Red belly with a box blade with width that didnt reach the inside of the back tires ) so I said I would give it a shot. I'd seen the crew before and noted they wasted a lot of time retracing their path due to snow roll of the edge of box blade and and bucket.. so my first thought was I need containment wings...but I need them to be detachable as well not cause a cost burden...TO THE SCRAP BIN!! digging around rewarded me with sturdy square tubing and a couple of 550 armor blades.. and here is the result. I am in serious thought of using my DIY quick attach plate for the FEL so I can mount the blade and push the snow up into piles.. appreciate any input ( side note the image with the green skate wheels.. I get asked a lot to spread gravel for people in their drives.. that was my solution after noting the john deer depth bars wore down real fast )

Ritch
Very clever design and fabrication of the plow wings. Especially the quick attach, simple and looks to be very strong.

Loving the new chains! Should have done this 4 years ago when I bought my tractor! IMG_3691.JPG

yes I need to do that, but I will have to wait until I can run across some heavy rubber flap... especially after what I did today... yep.. I held out for almost a full 24 hrs.. but in the end.. I had to make it so it would also work on the FEL. 20170201_155038.jpg20170201_155059.jpg

just when i was beginning to think that our snow was over, its dumping again. so far 5" in the past 4 hours, due to keep snowing until 10 am tomorrow. I actually took the blower off of the loader and put the bucket on to clean stalls. oh well, doesnt take too long to put blower back on.

WEENY WINTER here!

There were just TWO weeks with good safe ice, and due to circumstances beyond my control, I was not able to go ice fishing once. Then it got warm and we had rain, so its all open water now. GRrr...!!!!! Waiting for spring now.

I've plowed snow only twice this year. Tractor is in garage with plow on buried under un-used ice fishing gear.

Low snow year in Central Montana. I got a brand new setup and have barely used it. I'm sure I will over time.

I've spent more time putting the chains on than moving snow so far this winter.

Hopefully we can stick to posting about the snow machines that we are using, not ones that we can find on the internet.
just sayin, no disrespect meant to anyone.

I was at the tractor dealer Thursday,, he sold me this snowblower,,
he said the discharge chute was an option,, but, they would include it free.
They are supposed to be out in a week to install the discharge chute.

I drove down the driveway with it running,, it did not pick up any gravel,,
I was concerned about that, as many complain about the blowers throwing gravel,,,
it just made a nice whirring sound,,,

Spring is almost here,,,
:D

Same here, actually we have had so little snow I have moved it all with a shovel. Haven't put the plow on the truck, haven't fired up the tractor.

That's a good one.

That old hay dump rake brings back memories.. of the struggle to gather up hay when a kid.
