Tractor Sizing Please help a guy out!

I don稚 know where really tall people get stuff, I知 a little over six feet but wear only a 32 inseam pants. Most of my height is on my upper body so I wear tall sized shirts where I can find them. What does someone really tall wear, do they make a double tall?

Nice to know I'm not alone.
6 ft here with 30" inseam and usually with a cold back.
Add age and growing belly I need 38 waist with 30 inseam,
Ask me if I hate current style pants that barely reach your waist.
I don't need a MD to tell me why I have a sore back as it is mainly due to drafts.

I find that Mark's work wear (L'Equipeur in Quebec) often have shirts in TALL so I visit often.

I am 6'5" and have size 12 shoes. I don't have any problem on my JD 2025R. I don't fit in many brands of semi tractors though. Freightliner and Volvos are the only newer day cabs I can drive. Luckily my employer mostly has those. The new International I can't hit the brake without hitting the throttle so those are out.

I wear a 11.5 EE but trying to find that size is not easy. Even a 12 isn't wide enough and 13's are really hard to find around here and depending on where they're made may not be wide enough either. I finally found 2 shoe stores that have (or can get) the wide widths so I can try them on. One is SAS and the other is RedWing. Both are brick & mortar stores and I use them exclusively for my shoes and boots. SAS is strictly shoes for people on their feet all day (no boots). RedWing has boots and some shoes and are more aligned with field work. Neither are cheap, but they last a long time and are well worth their price.

There's a store about 1/2 hour away in Fivepointville that carries shoes for grownups. They run sales occasionally and I stock up.

Just a little update. I finally found the right tractor for me and my needs right now. It's a 2038r it fits me perfect and has plenty of room for these size 16 feet of mine

Very nice tractor. Well equipped!!! Can you post another pic of the 3rd function hose couplers? They seem to be in an odd position? Maybe the bracket is on upside down?? Couldn't tell from the pic. Assuming the dealer added that function? Beautiful tractor!!!

The dealer did install them and after taking off the bucket so it would fit in the garage and letting down the loader I can tell their placement is going to be a problem. I was thinking about bending the plate forward. Is this what you would do or do you suggest something else?

I can't tell for sure, is the tube they are fastened to square?? If so, maybe bolt the plate on the front of the tube with the couplers pointing horizontally forward?? This would have them pointed toward whatever attachment you are using and have the hoses up on top of the tube?

If the top of the tube is the only flat surface, then maybe bend the plate into an angle which also points the couplers forward and raises the hose.

They have hard lines running under that plate so it seems the best option is to either bend it or fab something where they are facing forward. I don't think it'll be to hard to fix.

Yep. I think you should work on that to improve it.

Beautiful tractor. If I ever wear out my little JD2210 that's what I'm stepping up to. I don't need an FEL. Would want a snow blade for the front and a MMM. Thanks for the pics. A freind has the same tractor , seems to like it . you might want to load the rear tires as they are a little light in the rear. this size should fit your needs perfect , have fun .

The dealer loaded them with antifreeze/water free of charge which for my area should be fine.

Me and my wife just purchased 5 acres of completely overgrown and neglected land and we're gonna need a tractor. My issue is I'm 6ft 5in and I have size 16 feet. I've sat in as many seats as I could find from as many brands I could find in my area (Kubota, Mahindra, Kioti, LS, JD, and Massey's) in the compact to lower end utility sizes. None of them seem to have enough leg room nor is the accelerator in a comfortable position for my size foot. I know this is not a common problem for most people but I can't be the only one. Is there any brand or size I can try that will offer more leg room or at least a more forward accelerator and not a treadle pedal because my foot actually got stuck on one of those.

Ok here is my two cents. Check out the LS XR6168CPS. I have size 17 shoes and my feet sit from seat base to pedals about four inches away from pedals of the 6168. However in a Kubota M6-141hp my shoes slide one inch UNDER the pedals! I refuse to twist my legs and feet and pull my legs backwards to then raise off the floor and rotate from a 90 degree angle back to being straight just to use the pedals!

That being said, here is what you look for. My shoes from heel to toe are 16 long. Measure the floor base where the box of seat touches the floor and measure from there to the bottom of the closest pedal at the bottom of pedal to base of seat box. If you don't have at least 4 or more in front of your toes to closest pedal you can damage the circulation in your cramped legs waiting to stretch out when a pedal would be needed.

Have a salesman measure from base of seat on floor to bottom of pedals before you go to see tractor. If it is less that four inches longer than your shoe, don稚 bother with it. Hard to believe an LS 68 hp tractor has more leg room than a 141hp kubota M6 but it does. Massey Ferguson 5700 series is base to pedals of 15 so that tractor is to small. Raising and lowering the seat wont give foot room for safe pedal operation. Only leg room and comfort...if the shoe fits. So if the shoe fits, buy the tractor!! Have a nice day and i hope this helps.
