Techincally all non-articulating tractors have MFWD
(mechanical front wheel assist) and a few have used HFWD (hydraulic bla bla bla) though it's no longer popular.
A 4wd in the traditional sense is a large ag tractor with 4 equal sized tires, usually used for tillage or land leveling. See pic for an example.
