UNLESS they come apart, and too many Frams are known to have done that!By the way, Wix makes Napa oil filters. I think if you change your oil regularly then any of the major brand filters will be fine. I boils down to brand loyalty I suppose.
It used to be the NAPA Gold were Wix, IIRC. Oreilleys used to carry Wix, don't know anymore. For oil and filter info, I go to 540rat's blog and Bob Is The Oil Guy.By the way, Wix makes Napa oil filters. Watched a video years ago on YouTube and so guy in the States went a bought many different brands of oil filters, went home and cut them apart to measure the spring pressure and the length of the filter material. I can not remember what he said was the best filter but remember him say don't even use a Fram on a wheelbarrowWhat? This can't be so, can it? I recently saw a tractor filter made in India or maybe Pakistan.
It says car filters but a lot of guys shop for crossover deals for tractors and the cheapest price so who knows what you get?
orileys is about the only play I know to get wix except online.I've given up on Fram. I wonder if the high end ones are any better? AC Delco I can get but Fix is hard to find unless I get the NAPA numbered one.
For tractors, I go with OEM only. Is that wrong?
