I thought about doing something like that to keep the cost down and still be effective too.
I works fine.Cut it as short as possible first.I have done a lot of this.I have a two bottom plow and where I cleared brush it would just ball up with roots;the middle buster did the job.Yes it will take a while to do but it does work.Mine has a lot of hours on it and still going with no problems.Yeah I've heard it does a good job for planing rows. I just didn't know how well it would do to break up ground that hasn't been worked before. It's pretty light and not as heavily built as a single bottom plow.
