I need to find out if a Kubota L3450DT 30hp 4WD will handle a two blade bottom plow.

Do you have bar tires, or ag's?? The latter will definitely improve traction and the ability to pull it. If you have bar tires, they might need to be loaded with ballast, if not already done so. The soil type and condition (wet vs dry) will also play ino it.

R-1 Ag tires are narrower than R-4's, and will fit in the narrow furrow of the 14" moldboard plow. Ability to adjust the plow to fit the tractor, or adjust the tires to fit the plow may enter into the decision.

I think you will be able to pull 2-12 or 2-14 inch plows about as easy as a 1-16, In addition, you will get a nicer turnover in the furrow. I would stay a away from JD plows that typically pull harder that the rest. Ken Sweet
