Pneumatic Grease gun?

For me a Dewalt 20v grease gun made more since only because I already have several Dewalt 20v tools, so I put the gun on my Christmas list last fall. I've only used one tube in it so far on my tractor since March, and it works great. When I got it, I thought the 30 inch hose was a bit much, but after using it, it's not, I lay the gun on the floor and put the coupling on the fitting and pull the trigger, easy peasy.

I had a Lincoln batt. powered gun, I like the two speeds, but the batt wont fit nothing else. If I didn't have batt power tools, I might consider the bulk pneumatic grease set up, because these grease tubes can be pricy, either way I'm all done with hand powered grease guns on my tractor, to much speaking in tongues.

I've got the Milwaukee 18v cordless grease gun, love it. The cordless part is nice as well as the long hose to reach things. But the best part is that it has a hard case. I can't tell you the amount of times the hose end hit something leaving grease behind. Even hanging on the wall out of the way it still found ways to glob grease on stuff. Now I keep a bunch of disposable skin gloves in the case that I throw away after use. The case has several clips molded into it to hold the hose. The only thing missing is a spot for a spare cartridge. At times I've taken the grease gun to the equipment, with the case it's just simply throw it in the bed. No worries about the tip getting something greasy nor dirt getting on the tip. Maybe everyone else isn't like me, just call me Pigpen lol. It's the first case that I actually use for more than just storing the tool when not needed for awhile.

I might have a slow in my line that cant be heard, in a weeks time my 60 gal. compressor is empty.

Milwaukee is good but hard to spell, and if you have other Milwaukee batt. tools, extra battery's are always good to have. I have to get some of the deposable gloves again too, I'm all out.

I really don't think its a good idea to leave pressure in the lines (air hoses) so I shut the valves off at the tank when I am done. I just cant stand waiting for the tank to fill and even with an industrial compressor a 120 gal tank takes a bit to get up to 200PSI so I understand not wanting to wait for yours to fill. The good thing about having a big tank with a monstrous pump is its very rare that I have to wait on it for anything. 3 valves with pressure regulators and the main is set to maintain between 180 and 200 PSI so unless there is 3 people working at the same time I don't run out of air pressure for normal use.

My shop is air plumbed. The compressor is in the rear of the shop inside the bathroom so it's inconvenient to shut off the valve. So I wired the compressor to only have electrical power when the shop lights are on. Shutting the lights off as you leave the shop shuts the compressor off, so if there's a break when I'm not there it'll just drain the tank and not burn the compressor up trying to maintain pressure.

And isn't a good idea to drain the condensate out of the tank regularly?
