i actually built barns for a living, and I have seen a lot of people only have bubble insulation installed on the roof and nothing on the walls, so it is common to do so. but one negative about not having anything on the walls, is that ive also seen the inside of the walls have alot of condensation on them...so when I was building my barn I was having to save on money, and couldn't really afford bubble insulation for the walls, so I decided to use bubble insulation on the Roof, and i just put typar house wrap on the walls. housewrap is very inexpensive and i can tell that it really helped out, as well as keeping gusts of wind from blowing inside threw the cracks and seems...i just thought that might be a good option that you may consider doing.
