Our pole barn is done, for now. Still want my brother to run the electric for me this summer but we finally have some place to store things at our property in NY. :)

Nice looking barn you have there.

Did you buy it as a kit and assemble it yourself, or did you have someone else install it for you?

I am looking to put up something similar and I am trying to figure out the most economical (read cheap) way to do it....:D

Very nice ... if you don't mind me asking ... what did the concrete in that building run you? We are starting a 24x32 project, but putting off concrete for expense purposes ...

Good Afternoon Depo,
Im in Vt, but I dont think that the concrete prices are that much different in upstate Ny... For my 28' by 42' barn Im looking at 20 yds and the cost per yard is about $100 right now... hope that helps !

I tried for two years to justify building mine myself, but in the end a Amish/Mennonite builder out of Lancaster was the cheapest. I could not build my building for what they charged me. You can look at some pictures in the Picasa link below.

We had a general contractor for the bulk of the work. We live a couple hundred miles from the property and it would have taken us forever to get it done.
