Police officers view on Semi-auto guns

I thought it was a good video, and did show how mislead people can be. The thing that troubles me is eroding freedoms. When I was in high school I hitched a ride to a town about twenty five miles from here. I went in a store and bought an old British 303 and a box of shells for sixteen dollars. Walked about a half mile through town with the thing and hitch hiked back with the rifle. And, I didn't have to stand there all day to catch a ride. Try that now! And, to be frank about it I wouldn't pick someone up like that either.
I have a friend who is a corrections officer here, and he and his wife both have concealed weapons licenses. I never got one cause we have what is called the constitution. IT gives me the right to have a firearm. I think that if you will check up on it, every man from 17 to about 45 is the militia.
Besides that, if terrorists try something here there are about 90 thousand hillbillies here armed to the teeth. With names like Bubba. And if bad comes to worse a good run will beat a bad stand. LOL

thingy, Did you just switch hit on us? I thought I understood your other posts as being pro gun control. that there are too many people carrying guns and the ones that are carrying are retards.
Then you go and post this. I have to say, Im confused.
Its entirely possible I misunderstood your other posts because I could'nt see past your broken english rantings about retarded people and how WV is the last bastion of a civilized U.S.

All I can say is what part of "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed" don't they understand.

That should say it all folks! The Founding Fathers knew what we needed and put together an outstanding Constitution. Don't allow the gun control freaks to interpret it their way. It is simple and straight forward. It says what it means and means what it says. Period.

I agree with you, but unfortunitely theres a whooooole lot more to it. If youve got about a half hour and are interested in aspects of the 2nd amendment, give this a read, you will see how screwed up it gets.

Thanks RayH for the link. We do need to be careful about Wikipedia posts as any one can write anything they feel like writing. Need to correlate the writings with the facts from trusted sources.

Sir William Blackstone was a really smart guy. He wrote all the commentaries on the law that lawyers used for hundreds of years for law of the land interpretation. Then liberal judges thought they could change the laws on their own without having to have the "consent of the people." That's why we are where we are today.

I know, none of it can be taken as fact but it does show some weird interpretations, different views and some insight on how what seems to be a pretty straight forward sentence can get so screwed up over the years.
