Manure spreaders are different ... no way to conveniently maintain against corrosion, and plastic can be backed for stiffness where needed and no potential for hi speed rubbing. Plastic broadcast spreaders can be destroyed by the agitator too quickly to perceive and react.

My bad on the manure issue. I meant just manure on anything metal not just a manure spreader. Those things stayed covered in manure year round if used on a daily basis. I can't count how many of them we went thru. As with most product threads on this site, which is great I might add, half like it half prefer something else. If my poly fails me I'll know to switch to a metal one.
Not to change the subject but I see where you own a KK tiller. What size and model is it and how do you like it? I'm looking at the KKII TG-60 model. They seem to match up with the Woods GHT-60 but for about half the cost. I can't find anything wrong with them on paper, looks like a good unit. So far I haven't heard anything but good things about them.
Thanks
