As long as you have more water coming in than going out you'll be OK. I would insist on core samples however so you know where the clay is.

The area is in a bottom that appears to be sub irrigated and he thinks we will hit the water table. There is a creek right across the fence and a 5 acre water shed also.

That pond boss site showed me how ignorant I was about ponds. I knew I didn't know anything, but they confirmed it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I have two small ponds, one holds water pretty well, the other doesn't. Guess I need to educate myself or become good friends with a pond expert. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
