I upgraded my syphon today with a pump with a solid plastic body and a couple of "rubber" hoses. Cost me $8, and with a bit of care, like storin' it outa sunlight, oughta last a lot longer'n them plastic squeeze bulbs.
The web information at the Re-Fuel site doesn't say if it can be used with Diesel, I sent them an email to clarify. I don't see why it wouldn't. I like the idea, even though the max flow is 1.5gpm. I could start the transfer and let it run for 10 minutes.JayAbbays said:

But, how many of you or your kids have played with those pump up water blaster water guns? Seems to me like the same thing..air pressure to move liquid (pump up and squirt up to 25' or more), but I haven't heard any reports of these chinese plastic pressure vessels blowing up and hurting anyone.

They would simply fill the cylinder with water, submerge it in a tank of water and preasureize it. When it got to the failure preasure it would just crack. If they had filled them with air they would have been like a bomb going off.
