The only logical idea I’ve ever heard is a small gravel puncturing the bottom of the battery where that probably wouldn’t have happened on a different surface. Another possible outcome would be the battery eating the concrete. As for killing the battery I have no idea how that’s supposed to happen.

That's what government grants are for! It's time to study batteries sitting on concrete floors. Do you think the government will send me money to buy about 20 batteries? Then I'd need to do the same study with AGM batteries. This could take several years, and of course I'd need to put in for compensation for all my time watching the batteries to make sure the study goes as it should. :laughing:

The English language is an amazing construct, since there are so many ways to say the same thing. And while the words mean the same thing, there is a subtle inference that they mean something else. It's fun to play with words. :thumbsup:
