Here's a picture of mountains in Lunenburg Vt (in the background) taken from Lancaster, NH. A Vt. friend that lives on the side of one of the mountains always claims to have a better view than we do, to which we reply -Of course you do, you're looking at NH. From either direction it's a pretty nice view. MikeD74T

I'll agree with you 110% on the conceal carry laws, always take my 10mm when I go up to visit, and honetsly, can't figure out how and why Vermont is that "easy" pertaining to handguns.

Hard to explain or describe. You just have to stay up for a couple of weeks and read the local newspapers.

I am at the point however where when I do go up, I get bumper stickers (to put on the car just for that trip)proclaiming religion, marriage or gun rights just to drive around in Burlington to tick the locals off!

Well there's the problem! You need to get away from Burlington and see VERMONT!

Scott -- sure is flat down there in your neck of the woods! What I wouldn't give for some flatter, more fertile land than the chunk of granite we have!

Boy aint it the truth, that you need to get away from any of the larger towns to see the real Vermont I just like sittin out by the fire listening to the coyotes in the distance !
