Porch Views... East Wells,Vt

We love our Fir forest. The forest road in the pic is about 15 to 20' wide which loop around the woods and about 3 miles from the begining to the end. We also have three trails brance off the road for hiking, ATV, and horse back riding.

Good Evenin Guys,
A couple of spring shots, first is the early mountain sun lighting up the farm on the hillside, melting that snow a little bit each day !

Second shot is some spring fog !

Third shot, not a porch view, is Uncle Daves outhouse !

Fourth shot is my neighbor, Enoch Pratts' sugar house before he started boiling, he makes some really fine syrup !

That's a heck of a walk to the outhouse on a cool Spring morn...

I'll wager it's even more fun in mid-Winter!

Vermont is a beautiful state. Been there two or three times in the last 10 years.

I really wish we had more hills and a mountain or two here. It's beautiful where we live, but also kind of flat. hahaha Your views are just stunning!! Thanks for sharing them.

Scottie, with a name like Enoch Pratts, your neighbor could sell his own brand of maple syrup or whiskey. With those great piles of snow around the trees, I'd bet a taste of Enoch Pratts Bourbon Whiskey would warm you up.

A few posts up Scott_VT posted "spring" pics.

As a deep southerner, it's hard to think of spring pictures with snow! Just seems like an oxymoron, kind of like northerners think our pics during Xmas with no snow, just isn't Xmas.

Vermont is an absolutely beautiful state Scott and you have yourself a nice little slice of it! Great pictures, thanks for taking the time to load and share them. I wish I remotely had anything close to that kind of view from my little slice of 'Bama. There are rolling hills like that in northern Alabama, I used to life in Scottsboro and Guntersville back in the '70's.

Nice pics Scotty, snow is gone here too, but they are talking about a chance for a bit more Sunday night, who knows. Love the fog pic and outhouse! Wondering how the sap is running up there? In NH they are saying it is another bad year so prices will be going up for sure.
