Posible blizzard coming to Massachusetts and surrounding states

The people that end up dead in an eastern blizzard are mostly elderly and often it's heart attacks while shoveling snow that do them in. If they have long lasting power cuts many will be freezing in their homes that need electricity to run the furnace. Being self reliant is of course the best thing but when you get past eighty you might need a hand. I don't have anyone near by that would need help but if you do be sure to check on them over the weekend.
That soft cab I bought will not owe me a dime by monday.

Well here on the coast of NH - 1/2 mi to ocean current temp @ 6:30 PM 28* and its starting to blow, have 6" maybe a bit more.

We are in the "snow zone" so could see 24"+ depending on the backside storm and wrapping around effect. Our other concern is the 40-50 MPH winds coming later.

Going to plow once after dinner about 8 PM and then deal with the rest in the AM. All set with genny, gas and snow moving machines, and wife made meatloaf and mashed taters so all is good!

this is a normal storm for me......... but then again, we hardly have a foot on the ground right now. Also this is why i now have a heated cab and a loader mounted snowblower

Well I went out and plowed out the road and neighbors again. Plenty of snow. I discovered my snowblower (which hasn't been started in 2 years) wasn't running optimally when I did some walk ways, so went and took out the carb and cleaned the jets. In the time it took me to do that (30 minutes because I had to also replace a fuel line in a difficult place) there was another almost 4" on the ground and I had to do it all over again.
