I guess I missed that part about "<font color=blue>doesn't float up or leak down</font color=blue>", and you're absolutely right. Or at least you describe the way it works on my L2500DT.
Raising the 3pt, as discussed elsewhere, is not very accurate, but if I start from a fully raised position, I can lower the implement with a fairly fine degree of position control to the minimum height I wish to attain. Once there, it most certainly floats up over obstacles or stubborn terrain, and I have yet to experience any noticeable leak-down (in all my vast 35 hours in the seat. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif).
Just observatins from a newbie, but there's no question on the floating issue for me. Other models behave differently?
