Got forks set up on the loader bucket today.

Got the logging winch on too... borrowed from a friend at work, pto shaft was too long. Shortened one I had to fit my tractor, so I didn't have to cut his, and it seems to work. Not yet tested.

Little to no progress on this project... brush hogging fields, mowing yards, work, family stuff... all keep me busy. I did manage to move and sort the logs I have in the field at this point yesterday evening.

I know the feeling. So many things that you have to do that get in the way of doing what you want to do. I try to do all my chores in the evening so I can have the weekend to work on my latest project. Sometimes it works out, other times another must do projects pops up that has to be done right away, like fixing the tractor or a must have done right away project that my wife just thought up. :)

Alot of my time management issues come from working days, and wife working nights. Keeping the kids in line and quiet so she can rest is a job in and of itself. Seems they wait till she's resting to carry on and play as loudly as possible. Not really complaining, but 'daddy time' really cuts into 'project time'. And with a 2yo daughter to chase, I can't yet combine the two... and the oldest daughter (the only one we trust to watch her) gets saddled with babysitting too much already, so I hate to ask her to watch the little one if I'm around. Such is life...

Wow... thanks for posting. Since that picture, they have added a hydroelectric power plant to the WV (left in picture) side of the dam, circa early 1990's. If the picture was more clear, you could likely see the building I work in every day, just south of the bridge, former Viking Glass building.
