Can you put some type of spacer on the top link so the PHD can't wobble back and forth on the pin? I think that is all I would do.
I hooked up my new Speeco 65 post hole digger to my LS XG3037 today, but not sure this is correct:

As you can see, the bracket on the boom of the PHD (2" wide) will not fit inside the top link mounting bracket (inside clearance is 1.75") which forced me to offset it. Is this normal or am I missing a piece that should do between the boom bracket and the tip link mounting bracket? Any help would be greatly appreciated. First time hooking up and using a PHD. Thanks.
I concur. You should fix it, but it's very debatable if I would bother if it were mine. I'd likely just run it like you set it up, maybe with some washers as spacers to keep the slop out... Maybe, if I was motivated. You could grind off a bit of the U shaped bracket to make it fit, BUT it will work just fine as it is. The mfg. made a little error in fabrication when he bent that bracket, but it seems you got around it OK.
Words to LIVE by.No helpers anywhere near the pto shaft or auger when operating. No matter if the auger need some weight or help to dig in.
Having helpers arms and legs torn off is all too common. One of the reasons why a hydraulic driven PHD bolted to the loader bucket is so much superior .
