Potential power increase for CK2610?

It’s easy and your over thinking it..
Gain access to the max. fuel screw..
Turn the screw OUT 1 full turn and run the engine to see if u like it.. if not, turn the screw OUT 1 full turn..
Run it, u should notice an improvement..
Rev the engine IN NEUTRAL and check the smoke.. rev it from low idle to hi idle..a couple of times.. u should get a puff of black smoke and then it clears up..
If u want MORE, start going in 1/2 turn increments..
It won’t hurt if u get a LIGHT HAZE black/grey smoke at hi idle..
Good luck

Stupid question; how's the fuel "range" on a Ck3510/CK4010? Reason I ask, my Ck2610, has maybe 7 hours of hard work, and it's needing fuel. Are guys running the 35 or 40 refueling every 4-5 hours? That would get irritating

Edit: I'm not saying I have 7 hours from full full to bone dry; but at 7 hours, your needing to refill

Have you tried reving it higher speed? Cannot imagine why you need more hp than 24ish. To me, it's already too much. Only need more hp when dirt digging. Just rev it to 3000 to 3500 rpm then.
I am guessing you live on flat ground. These tractors are turtles working with loads on slopes.

Interested to see if more people have done this. I really want a 2610SE cab, but I drive up some steep hills and am worried about power in medium gear.
forget about it you'll be in low. Possibly you could do it in medium if you have no load.

Can you do this stationary or should you do it under load, like running up hill in high range.

I turned it out 1.5 turns tonight and boy, it made a huge difference. I get a brief black poof when revving but it quickly clears up. I'm not getting nearly the bogging I had before with my flail mower. It's getting late here but I plan on putting it to work tomorrow to test fully. Thanks everyone for the pointers.

The only thing I'm noticing now is that one of the belts is squealing quite a bit. It was squealing prior to turning it up but seems a bit worse now. I'll tighten both before putting it back to work.

2610 hst goes up this hill 2000 rpm no problem
I know this is an old thread, hope you get this. I;m considering a 2020 2610se, my concern is using BH or flail mower up hills that steep, some maybe a bit more. Can you comment on your experience doing that?
