Power service additive, one ounce?

Walmart and lots of other places have measuring glasses from shot glass size on up. They have ounces, millileters, teaspoon, and tablespoon numbers on them in red letters. I keep one in the shop to measure insecticides, so it would just fine for Power Service. However, I also agree with the others that too much ain't gonna hurt anything, so I wouldn't waste any time worrying about it.

The BEST solution I heard was to take an old* baby bottle to measure the amount.

When I was using the lug lift and grunt five gallon can method I liked *this The best for treating small amounts.
I marked one of them off in three 3 ounce increments.
This is enough to treat three 5 gallon cans.
After I built my pump and drum rig I just dump a full 32 oz.bottle in the empty 55 drum before filling it .
I still have the marked BB in case I would happen to need to traeat a small amount sometime.

A word of caution about Power Service. I just noticed they have change their treatment rates on the new bottles. I realized this when I was researching online last week and found they no longer give the rates on their site. They tell you to follow the instructions on the bottle. I compared the bottles from last year and this year, and realized they no longer recommend a double dose for winter use. The new rate is for summer and winter, which equates to half the old winter rate. Also the rate for BioDiesel is now 2/3 of the old rate.
This concerns me some, as maybe they found an issue with higher rates? Seems odd that IF they are using a more concentrated formula requiring lower dosages, they are not bragging about it on the front of their bottles.

Old rates:
Summer = 32 oz per 100 gallons of fuel (.32 oz per gallon)
Winter = 32 oz per 50 gallons of fuel (.64 oz per gallon)
BioDiesel = 32 oz per 30 gallons of fuel (1 oz per gallon)

New rates:
Winter and Summer = 1 oz per 3 gallons of fuel (.33 oz per gallon)
BioDiesel = 2 oz per 30 gallons of fuel (.64 oz per gallon)

I use several diesel fuel additives in my various machines.Some additives come free from work,etc.I also use Power service.I buy souflee cups at the local food service store.They have one and two ounce plastic cups like you get catsup at in a restaurant.A bag of a hundred is about $3-4-almost a lifetime supply!If I'm refueling my diesel vehicles I have my additive with me,estimate the quanity required,add the additive and toss the cup into their garbage container.Works very well for me!!
