power steering

My bx1800 has a power steering problem, when the FEL has weight in it, it seems that the steering is loose and sometimes you may turn the wheel and it seems it does not go in your direction until you turn more, it this common? or do I have a potential problem 1aberg1@verizon.net

I think you are going to find that the piston o-ring for the power steering cylinder is worn. Many of these begin to have issues at about 500 hours. Very inexpensive to repair if you are willing to get in there to replace the o-ring.
