am glad you mentioned that .... am contemplating to put a plexiglass windshield in because i have had a few things flying past my face over the few hundred hours i am operating the stumpgrinder and rough cut mower ...especailly when you raise the deck to destroy multiflora bushes. see a future post of mine of how i think i will clean up woody plants with the the pt425.

I am having trouble with my PT 422. I guess it is my own fault. In order to sell my wife on the idea of buying the tractor, I told her it was a flower bed tractor. Now she is claiming that it is her tractor. I still have to maintain it though. What a deal!!

Buy another one, you know, his and hers!

Proper maintenance is the least you can do for her flower bed tractor. Except of course for her birthday and Christmas you can give her neat new attachments as gifts.

I've noticed that they make 4 in 1s for the little stand-on skid steers - probably about the right size for the 422/5. I might consider that in the future, but I'm guessing they're probably a bit pricy.
You've probably already seen the Ramrod stuff, but if not, take a look at: Ramrod

Just weld the plate on the back and you'll only need to add some teeth.

Re: Power Trac PT425 4n1

When I posted the link to the mini skid steer, and the 4 n 1 that may fit a 400 series PT, I should have given credit to bubenberg who sent the reference to me. He may look at their high lift bucket to adapt to the 425, so it can dump into a pickup without ramps. Bubenberg (Hans) was one of the Power Trac owners I talked to when I was researching Power Trac. He uses his professionally and has used it a lot of hours. He also has tested it in some ways perhaps not contemplated by the folks in Tazewell, thus the PT test pilot moniker that ends some of his posts.
