You can re seat that tire yourself. Put a small ratcheting tie down strap or a rope with a small loop on it. Put it around the tire and tighten it until the tire is in rim. If you use rope pull the rope thru the loop and hold it tight with vise grips. Then inflate tires. I have also done this with my hands and had some one else inflate the tire. Make sure the rim is clean. I have seen some people use axle grease to help seat the rim.

I keep hoping for snow, but it just melts as soon as it hits the ground. Oh well, at least it is cold enough to start freezing the lakes. I need to go ice fishing soon! Sounds like an excuse to order the power post hole auger for the PT425 and use it to drill my ice holes!

There are four new PT425 videos on my web page. They are listed under Snow Plowing, Merry Christmas. The sizes are listed to the left(warning for 28.8 users). All are in windows media format.

The videos include footage of a high speed reverse run down my driveway(8MPH forward or reverse). It just looks strange because I used a wide angle lens set low to the ground.

Also includes good looks at the snow plow, tilt function, lift arms and articulated steering in action.

This machine is a real pleasure to drive. It is smooth and easy to steer. I was a little leary of how it would be to drive an articulated unit over long runs. I thought the steering would be jerky, but it is no different than normal steering. I am getting more comfortable as the days go by.

I bought two more headlights tonight. I will temp them in and then decide where I want them. One will definitely go under the canopy in a corner facing forward. I might put one facing backwards, as there is no light facing the rear. Where to mount it is the question.

I love those wheels on the front blade. Great idea. Makes my backwards driving with a rear blade seem really klutzy.

Everything out in front works great so far. The wheels are great compared to the steel skid shoes that I had on my pickuptruck plow. They ride over crushed stone well, too.

Anything, something, just throw me a bone! The snow that is falling right now is melting as it hits the street. Light annoying stuff that just makes the windshield dirty. And it appears to be out of the south west, so it isn't from the lake. I'm getting another load of limestone at lunch today and will spread it right over any snow that is in my parking place. Hopefully it won't freeze into the bed of my truck. I might tarp it until I can unload it tomorrow.
