Pressure drop normal?

Every tractor I own has a levered valve near the seat that determines how slow a implement drops when the hydraulic lever is moved forward. Check if your unit has such a lever to see if it has accidentally been moved a bit.

That drop damper valve has nothing to do with his lift not staying up, but could be used as a check to see if its the level control valve leaking or the lift cyl.

The unit you are talking about is a variable orifice to adjust the lowering speed or the 3pt, and will also lock the arms in any position for transport.

Descent knob.

As Larry mentioned, that knob isnt the issue. But will tell you if its the valve or the cylinder.

Dads 8n drops fast. But it is the cylinder. We know that. The know would be useless.
