Price on rear remotes

I would consider $1900 for all 3 OEM control valves to be a fair price. Be sure to get at least 1 if not 2 of them with the float function. ;)

I would get 2 of the remotes with the float function. If you plan on using a log splitter or a wood chipper, then get the 3rd remote as a detent remote. If not, then a simple spring return to center valve for normal implement use is all that you need. ;)

I looked at the parts breakout for the valves and it looks like the levers next to the seat are not connected directly to the valves on the GL40 (I don't know about the 60 series). It doesn't matter if it's open station or cabin. It looks like the levers have linkage that goes down to the valves. Because of this I don't know how easy it would be to use the three slots for the factory remotes if you were to try to make aftermarket valves work. I like the valves being out of sight.

I installed 3 factory remotes on my GL3240 - 2 float & 1 detent, as Brian suggested. It was wicked expensive, as others have described. But the kits are very nicely detailed to shoehorn a lot of gear into not much space at all. crazyal is right on the mark about it being a clean install and I can't imagine trying to cobble all that kit together myself. It would have been a major undertaking, spanning several days, to measure everything up, draw up a layout, fabricate, try to fit everything, curse that something isn't just right, start over again, etc, etc.

The Kubota valve kit is very nicely made to fit design. It can be done by an amateur. Well worth the extra cost. Unless of course you like that cluttered patched together look.

Sometimes looks also helps with functionality. A messy setup can be a headache to use with valves and hoses hung everywhere.
