Price Opinion for new 2013 BX2670

Looking at purchasing a BX2670. Can anyone give an opinion on this quote. I am a fiist time tractor buyer so I would appreciate any input. The current Kubota promotion (0%, 0 down, 60 mos)seems like a good time to byuy.

I have been quoted $17,300.00 (before 3% sales tax) for a BX2670 with Quick Attach FEL, 54" Fine Cut MMM, LED Fender and ROPS lights, R4 Tires, Grille Guard and Ballast Box. Delivery is free (about 75 miles away) KTAC insurance quoted at $890.00. This for 0%, 0 down at 60 mos financing.

I got a second quote from another dealer and they were $600.00 more and charges $150.00 for delivery (120 miles away).

Dealer told me he would knock off $1,000.00 if paid cash.

Any recommendations/comments welcomed.

Build the tractor on Kubotas site just like you got on your quote. 12% off of that price is fair. Are they filing the tires?

No tires not filled. Lights are to be installed.

12% off site price seems too good to be true. My dealer's quote on a BX2360 is something less than 5% - 6.3% off the site pricing; (they are giving a $500 disc not reflected on the site). And while the site says the ballast box 'must' be included when adding a FEL, I'm not sure the dealer has that in the quote. If the BB is in the quote the quote reduction from the site is more like 6.3%. So I guess this means I should negotiate with him a bit more? Of course they currently have the 0% financing for 60 months, so that may make them a little less flexible in reducing the price. Also my region (NJ) might increase the dealer price? Thanks for any feed back.

I alway recommend to check at least 3 dealers to be sure you are getting the best deal. A 2360 should be discounted more since it is now a old model.

You should get around 12% off financed. Pricing also varies by region.

Thank you Bullitt, Dealers are kind of few and far between, will they quote you over the phone or via email? I may be lazy, but to drive 40 miles or so to get a higher quote would be a bummer. Thanks again.

They may I guess it all depends on the dealer. I had 2 give me prices over the phone. I actually was at the one dealer but I asked him how much it was for different size over the phone. Tell them your local guy is high priced and you are looking for the best deal. I never have much luck with emails.

Barlows, in Somerset, Ky, will give you a price email or phone and they deliver to your door all over the US. I would always wonder if I bought one from another dealer how much Barlows would have sold it for. The new tractors are owned by Kubota and the price, once it's sold, is the same to all dealers. The dealer gets to decide how much profit they get to make and it makes no difference to the dealer if it's cash or financed.
