Congrats 35DMan! Like Houndstooth, we are completely satisfied with our Cabbed TC45DA. Very nice unit and their is nothing better than mowing in the heat while staying cool, listening to the tunes and your not covered in thatch/residue when you are done. The next best thing will be blowing snow in a few months while wearing shorts instead of coversalls! Enjoy and post pics when you get her.

Red_Dog....I forgot to mention how nice is was to not get all dusty. Now I don't wanna come off as a pansy. I don't mind gettin' dirty. But after workin' in it all day and coming home to mow the yard, It's nice to take a shower and put on some shorts and go cutt the grass. hahaha I've never taken a shower to mow grass before! "supersweet"...er...suite!

Congrats! That is a great deal! I have always liked an open platform tractor, but after 30 hours on my TC40da (in AC listening to the radio) I'm not sure I could go back. I do a lot of mowing and it is so nice being comfortable and dust free. Maybe I'm just getting old. Post some pics when you get it.

I'm not a great welder, so I had the dealer weld on the hooks before I picked it up. I had hooks in the same spot on my TC40 that I traded, would have kept the old bucket but it was not quick attach. If you want a better pic of the hooks let me know.

Great looking tractor. The NH has one of the biggest cabs, it does look superSWEET, er, suite.

by the way, what are the hooks welded on for, lifting with the FEL, etc? I have had need to use my bucket to lift things, like the large heavy MMM, and would have liked to have hooks on the bucket to aid in that but had to improvise instead.

Can you post a pic of the Joystick? I'm planning on getting the FEL soon and was curious as to where it's mounted. Also, Is there plenty of room to use the right side door?

I'll take a couple pics when I get home. It is a little harder using the right door than the left, but not bad.

Originally I used the hooks a lot for lifting or dragging things. I can pick up anything I can get a chain around. They are handy to have and inexpensive to install. However, now I that I have pallet forks, I don't use the hooks as much.

The NH 40 and 45 have the greatest FEL joystick. I would have liked the machine just for the joystick. It is fitted for the hand, not just a ball on the end of a stick like everyone else, and they have the rabbit and turtle as a control on the joystick, which sits just right of the seat in a great position.

I agree
The NH's definately have better ergonomics than some of the other brands IMHO.
I really like the rabbit/turtle switch
the cruise control should be there too.
