Price Check Pricing L3130 w/LA513 Loader.

The price from Deen for the L3130 is extraordinary but I notice that the price is a special that is available on only one tractor, and since it is located in Texas, I don't think that deal would give someone much bargining power in the Mid-Atlantic area because prices vary so widely from region to region.

However, a good price from Carver may be useful. I priced some optional items from Carver a while back and they were comparable to my local dealer, but perhaps they give better pricing on their tractors.

Here at my dealer the 3430 was about 1000.00 more and the 3830 was 2000.00 more, actually 1900.00 but same difference...It seemed like a no brainer after the dealer told me that, same size tractor, frame, weight etc. but 20% more horsepower than the 3130....my decision was made, out of my budget? yes, but worth it in the long run, hoping I can keep this tractor for a very long time.....

One othe question, since the 3130, 3430, and 3830 are all very similar size frame tractors, how come you can put either the 513 or the 723 on the 3130, but only the 723 on the 3830? I wanted the 723 anyway but I am just curious why it can only take the 723 since they are basically the same size tractor? Same size hydraulics?

Ryan, I'm pretty sure it's just a marketing decision (a benign one in this case). My guess is that they figure if you're getting all that HP you're going to want the bigger loader anyway. The frame on the 3830 MIGHT be a little different from the 31/34 though. I think it's probably the same, but I'm not sure.

It is a little bigger but not by much, it was like 2.7 inches longer, 1 inch taller and that was about it....not much difference in size.
