Prince autocycle valve

installed on new splitter I've built.its an rd 5000.problem is it doesn't detent either way.and when it gets to the wedge it won't go into relief it already broke a pin in the wedge and I saw it start to bend my cylinder rod but I stopped it in time.
I have the schematic .is it the spool pressure release I try to back off on each?

Did you plumb it backwards? If you have the pressure and tank ports reversed it will do what you describe. If it is that way luckily you haven't blown the pump, cylinder or a line.

I plumbed it exactly like the diagram showed.the ram goes back and forth fine ,just doesn't detent or go into relief

Also keep in mind if the valve has power beyond both the tank and power beyond port need to go back to the tank.

I guess I don't understand that part.if I'm not using the power beyond port I can't just leave the plug in it? It doesn't show in the directions to return both to the tank.so am I suppose to t the out and power beyond together and return to the tank?

My salesmen says I don't have power beyond.its capable of it but some extra peice to buy.he thinks it could be I have a few hoses in my plumbing that are two small

There are 2 versions of the valve the one without power beyond has just a tank and pressure port. The one with power beyond has 3 ports pressure, tank, and PB if it has the PB port It has to be plumbed to the tank it cannot have a plug in it.

The splitter seems fine now I think it had air or something I cycled it at least 20 times both detents work.perfect. I do however have leaks to solve could you tell me what they are called I need o ring boss 3/4 here ill show pics

Those look like NPT to me, not ORB. You don't need tape on the swivels, they seal on the tapered seat.................Mike

They are npt and I can't get them to stop weeping .I need the o ring boss ones .3/4 to 1/2.unfortunately my tsc doesn't have them(that big).i was gonna pick up on line.want to male sure sure I get correct thing.get this issue fixed my 2 year project is done!!! I will show pics of this splitter.part splitter,part riding mower☺☺☺

If they are O ring boss fittings and you screwed NPT into the hole you probably screwed up the threads in the hole as the ones for an O ring are a straight thread not tapered like NPT

For sure
The plugs that are in them on the Prince site don't look to to be ORB plugs tho unless it's a change up from the pictures. Hard to tell for sure but they do look like the surface of the port is tapered, can say for sure tho........Mike

According to the Prince spec, the fittings are 3/4npt. My suggestion to stop the leaks is to remove all the fitting and remove the teflon tape. After a good cleaning, use a good hyd sealant on the fitting. I like this one.
