Arthur,

I am so glad that Someone is interested in this thread.....Thank you. (and Daves Tractor too!).....

Well, the Mahindra is just plain out too big....Its gotta go for I have no use for it anymore.......I honestly feel I should sell it to let somebody who truly needs a tractor this size be able to use it........BUT, I read your post a little while ago and thought about what you told me................Your answer is YES, I would keep my YM2000 if I had smaller implements......I sold my 6' disks yesterday and will for sure be selling my 6' box come Friday.....Then, all i'll have left is my 6' finishing mower, 5' bush hog, middle buster, and boom pole.......I would need to get rid of the 6' finishing mower and 5' bush hog.......THEN, I could go buy a new 5' finishing mower (probably a Sitrex or Land Pride) 4' bush hog (probably a Kodiak), and 5' disks (probably a United or LMC brand)........

YOU, Arthur, made me realize that my YM2000 is not TOO SMALL for what I need to do......Its the implements that I have is whats TOO BIG for the YM2000!!......NOW, the Mahindra is just too big all the way around, but it wasn't when I first bought/needed it.........THANK YOU ARTHUR!

I think I'll come out ahead (A LOT CHEAPER) (with money in my pocket) if I buy a few implements for the YM2000 instead of buying another tractor for my implements that I curently own!

Please, ANYONE, let me know if you agree or dis-agree.

Thanks,
Travis

good. don't act too rash, think about what size tractor and then choose implements to work with. if you really think ym2000 will work, then get the right sized implements and go with what you have for a powerplant... Just what I would do... If I had such a rich decision to make !! :D

Yeah, if that tractor will work for you, I'd just keep the tractor and sell your other implements and buy new ones. A smaller tractor is not always slower to getting your work done either. For example, my previous riding mower was bigger than my current one. Figured the newer, smaller one would take me longer to mow with but actually it is the opposite because it is easier to manuever. I can whip this one around trees and the propane tank and other obstacles. I hardly ever need to back it (which involves putting the blade up due to a safety switch that prevents backing with it down; less wear and tear on the belts with less backing, too).
