It is people like you who modify equipment that has caused since 2003 2,139 deaths, over 120,000 injuries and 6 police officer, 2 fireman and 1 FBI agent to loose their lives due to trailers just comming off hitches.

Want more??? since 1988 449,000 have been injured by passenger cars that tow these unregulated trailers. My trailer is Regulated:D

Ask your self this question... would anybody in this forum would want to drive behind this trailer? :eek::D They said yes

Yes Ron Decaf please....

As a firefighter AND a Physician Assistant in emergency medicine, and before that I've worked on oil tankers, oil rigs and marine construction, some of the most dangerous fields to be in.

I know dangerous situations, as, I see them daily in the fire service, and this isn't even close. And If I were to haul the trailer up the street behind my tractor, at 5 MPH NOT much would happen if it did come uncoupled.

Find another soap box to stand on. :rolleyes:

If he does get that Kubota up to 65mph on the highway, towing the dump trailer, I'd like to watch!

Ron;

Please keep the OP's application in perspective. This is not a highway or public road use. I am curious about your crusade against the entire utility trailer industry because you had an minor "at fault" accident. Stuff happens. Just about every human activity can be fraught with danger if you try hard enough or avoid thinking. Saving lives and preventing injuries is a noble cause and I wish you well in your efforts. But enlisting the help of the "government" with inspections (fees), training programs (more fees) and regulations (increased consumer costs) sometimes brings on unintended consequences to the law abiding and safety conscious public at large. My .02 cents. Good luck

I plan on putting a hitch ball on my favourite implement like some of you guys have done. I'll be sure to allow for secure fastening of safety chains.

Can I bring beer?:D

oh course, I always drink beer on the tractor. And to be safe, I wear one of those hard hats holding 2 cans with the straws, so I have both hands for the wheel:D

When you get a moment please go to Dangerous Trailers.org.

If not... then this set up is an accident waiting to happen.

We have 3 familes in this country that do not know who killed their loved one because the trailer came off the hitch and they did not stop.
What country is that ?

ron - we still havent heard from you with a apology to firefighter. Either you are h$!! bent on reporting every little thing related to towing without regards to whats really happening here. firefighter is only moving trailer on his property and the tractors cannot go the speed like cars/trucks can. in worse case scenerio if the trailer does fall off his backblade, the worse damage would be maybe bending the trailer jack and its easily repairable and cheap. that is firefighter problem if that does happen, not yours.

ron- i checked out some of the pics you posted on the website and yes i understand some people go too far with thier trailers, but i will reinterate here that most of us here at TBN are much more safety conciousthen you think. I am going to jump off the ledge and say that we on TBN are much more safter drivers with trailers then you have seen and posted don your website. How do i know? take a look at the trailer discussion part of TBN forum. Most of us are asking questions BEFORE we attempt to do what we need to do.

So ron- dont take this the wrong way, but your post is a little over the top and not related to firefigther solution.
