Problem w/ loader locking on my L45

So here is the problem - the loader locking mechanism is the same height as my right knee so when I turn to look behind me or want to adjust the backhoe from the front my knee hits the **** thing and locks the loader. Love my L45 but this is really pissing me off. Dealer is coming to look but it sounds like they haven't seen this problem yet???

Wondering if anybody else is having a problem w/ the loader locking? Not sure if this feature is only on my L45 but I'm guessing it is on others as well.

I think they changed the joy stick on L45 from what is on my L39. On my L39 the lock is just a little slide in lever. If your's is similar, then I would think you could cut a piece of wood with a slit in it like a small close pin to slip over the lever to block it from being accidentally pushed in.

Move the seat back a notch or two??

Dealer is coming down to look at it, he thinks he may be able to adjust sensitivity. Seat is pretty much back all the way, besides I should be comfortable riding a $40K tracor! The wood thing is not a bad idea as long as it stays on. We'll see.

Nobody having the same problem???

Update - After several go arounds dealer cut the lever back so it is behind the plastic housing. Had to sign waiver but thats OK, no more unwanted locking FEL while backdragging. Life is good, love my L45.
