I guess I didn't make it clear.............A headlight bulb, NOT the temperature bulb...

1......I found that the right side high beam head light don't work (there is a burnt spot in the bulb.)

I think that was clear.

I think many of us forgot about that because of the overheat topic...:D

I think some of the new antifreeze/conditioneers may be an improvement over the the old stuff. I also think that these old Yanny's will do fine for years if you use clean fresh good quality old fashioned antifreeze with 50/50 A to W mixture.. That is what I use. Flush and change once a year. I may look at the D rated stuff next time? Remember that Antifreeze is very toxic to animals and people.....

When u used the 5 footer the second time did you still run your unit wide open? I think running them wide open and working them could get them a little hot. I run my 2210 at 2200 rpm or less. (4 ft brush hog) 2200 rpm and 1st pto gear = 540 pto speed.(well close) When I am out mowing the well grazed pasture I sometimes shift the pto speed to 2nd and drop the rpms to 1800 I put the range in 4th and the power shift in 3 and I speed mow. Now kids don't try this at home. I am just top cutting an inch of grass and the ocassional weed. I then drag a 4 ft chain harrow and all this does wonders for the pasture. I might try slowing down and drag the harrow behind the mower sometime.......one pass better than two....

You have not said what your radiator fins look like. Can you see light through them? Do you have a prescreen?

Yes, I do have a prescreen..........My radiator fins look to be very clean also............I will probably spray some Castrol Super Clean, oven cleaner, Simple Green, or engine degreaser in the fins to help "break up" some of the crud, if any.............

Travis

ps..........I just want to say that I am very happy with my Yanmar that I bought from RCO Tractor.................I really do like this tractor, and them too.

Get the temp gauge and you can always tell what is going on with your temp. For example, my 2210 always ran about 155 regardless of ambient temp, if it got up to 175, I knew something wasn't right.

Yeah,

Thats what my plans are.......But first I want to put the new sending unit in there and see what that does...........But I'll still put my gauge in, just a little later............I'm having a ****-of-a time trying to find that metric adapter I need....................Sunpro discontinued the CP7574 metric adapter kit..............
