I'm trying to rip the BX24 so you guys talk me out of it. Kind of like reverse psychology. I know most of the issues are being resolved, but what about the poor hydrostatic control, the jerkiness you guys have reported. I need a small dirt mover with a removable loader and future mowing deck.

When I first starting driving the tractor I was pretty annoyed by the jerky stop when backing up. I consider myself to be pretty handy with machinery, in fact I make my living operating large pieces of equipment. It was definitely worse in high range than low. But now I have about 85 hours on the tractor and I don't notice it at all anymore. I have noticed that my forward pedal is a little slow to return to the center position, however. I think my spring tension might be a little lower now than it originally was. Lately, I've spent the last 20 hours or so on the tractor building about a 3/4 mile long trail through our lot/soon to be home. I haven't noticed the jerky stop since long before I started that project. I think it is half getting used to it, and half breaking the thing in a little.

Thanks, I was not sure if it was the operator or the tractor or maybe both. I have let folks use my old L3830 and L48, both HST and some seem to have it understood after minutes of use and some I wonder if they ever will. I feel I have HST down as well as you ever could. There is a seat of the pants instinct you develop that is analogus to using a Bobcat skidsteer with hand controls. You can actually smooth out the bumps by adding/removing pedal pressure at the right time.
