Problems with hour meter on BX24

Anyone else had any problems with their hour meter? My machine has about 210 hours on it and all of a sudden I noticed that the hour meter says thousands of hours now. I have not called the dealer yet, but for the machine to have that many hours, it would have had to be left running without stop for almost a year!

Do you have the warranty parts kit installed? One of the items included is a new dash console which includes a new hour/rpm meter. It also has the floor supports and new rubber handgrips for the levers as well.

Interesting. Could you please tell us more about the replacements. I had my floor replaced (Due to the BX24 Floor Crack) and they didnt replace anything else. Should they if we ask replace the handles and hour meter. Thanks Alot.

I'm curious, when will all the issues with the BX be addressed and the new ones being sold no longer have them. It seems that the BX has been quite plagued with issues.

Some posting with the BX24 problems may not be brand new machines...For example, mine has about 55 hours on it...It is a year old

My 24 had an hour meter problem where it would be blank for extended periods of time when the engine was running. My dealer changed it out under warranty on site when they did the seat bolt recall. I changed the fender out myself, since I couldn't get it to the dealer very easily, and I still need to do the rubber grips and the radiator screen.

Is there a place where you could find Product information bulletin for the kubota tractors. I know there is such a place for vehicles. Just wanted to know if there is one for Kubota. Thanks

Dealer told me Kubota handled it all in one replacement 'kit', including the floor supports, hand grips, and console / hour meter. I would ask your dealer about it if needed. I hoping to avoid cracking my original fender by using the support kit.

In July I'll be getting a new seat under warranty as well, that's when the new design will be available.

I'm trying to rip the BX24 so you guys talk me out of it. Kind of like reverse psychology. I know most of the issues are being resolved, but what about the poor hydrostatic control, the jerkiness you guys have reported. I need a small dirt mover with a removable loader and future mowing deck.

I think you'll have to look harder. Considering the minor annoyances it does have, it's still one **** of a little tractor. I'm pretty happy that Kubota recognizes when there are customer complaints and actually does something about it...can't ask for much more then that.
