You didn't mention if you had stumps to clear. If there are a significant number you might inquire about having someone with a fair sized bulldozer (Cat D-6?) with a rake blade come in and de stump and clear out the "mulch" all in one swoop. Would probably run over a grand but might be cheaper in the long run.
