Prodigy 2 brake controller tips?

I just had one of these (along with the timbrens SES on the rear axle) installed. any tips for best operation? I will be pulling a 18ft holmes landscaping trailer with a B2920 mostly short distances. Should I adjust the controller for a loaded or empty trailer?
Tow vehicle is a 09Ram 1500 Hemi 3.92 gears with all factory tow options.

You should adjust it for both.

I keep both of my Prodigy controllers set for the empty trailer. Then when I load the trailer I bump up the boost by pushing a button. Usually my utility trailer I run w/o any boost. Then loaded either B1 or B2. Usually run the stock trailer empty at B1. Then loaded at B2. When pulling our camper it goes to B3. Though I won't pull our camper w/ our Suburban because of the size and weight of the camper. Figure I'm already pushing the truck enough, but the 'burb does fine towing the other two trailers loaded or empty and towing smaller (30' or less) campers.

You have plenty of truck for the task with them 3.92 gears.

Adjust the controller for every load. The way I do it is to get going about 25 and use the manual control on the controller. If the wheels lock up on the trailer back it off a little till they do not. If they do not lock up increase it till it does lock up then back it off a little.
