I have a prodigy brake cotroller not sure what model but I know it cost me
$150, anyway when I press on the brake the numbers get higher and I know thats ok but when I push hard on the brake the numbers get higher then I get a error message which reads oL does anyone know what is causing this?I am sure the message means over load but it never did it before until this week when I used the dump trailer.any help would be appreciated.thanks

Check all the grounds on the trailer. I would also check the entire wiring and the magnets. To make sure your trucks wiring is ok, hook up to a buddies trailer and check things out. You don't even have to tow it, just back up close and hook up the plug then try out the brakes.

Do what Diamondpilot said, this will rule out 50% of the possible causes.

I'd call or email Tekonsha. They replied to me in a few hours and told me exactly what to do to diagnose the problem I had. Took 5 minutes to fix it out once I knew what was wrong.
