project update... If only!!!! Long

Quite a saga. Thank you for posting, as it serves as an educational tool for the rest of us. In the next year or so I'm going to have some cement poured for a patio area around the pool. So I'm always reading articles and posts about concrete. The more information the better. For example, had a guy out delivering some mushroom compost for the garden and he asked about other landscaping work. He mentioned they do some patios and what not so I asked about the concrete patio around the pool. He says "We could probably do that" DANGER.......DANGER....WILL ROBINSON!!!! I don't want it "probably done". So, thanks for furthering my education and good luck with getting it all straightened out.

Harvestor- An idea might be to contact your county highway department and find out about road construction going on right now. drie over to the construction area and talk with the guys working the job. guys who work in concrete road construction for a living know what they are doing, and at least in my case they take side jbs. had to pay in cash though. i think ours was around 8,000 or 9,000. At least if you hire road crews you know they are experienced and pro's.
