Wow, that’s Ruff. 🤣
We still have some stations around my area with old school pumps and I can guarantee you the Philly-Wilmington area is as modern as any place in the country.

Research is saying geo-thermal is less expensive, better, cleaner and will make wind and solar obsolete in the future.
I asked my son in law's father how he heats his home in upstate New York. We had a discussion about geothermal. He said 2 feet down is rock ledge and the cost to blast and install for geothermal would not be worth any cost savings.

Around here, we have deep sand, so it wouldn't be a problem.

Just saw a well known New York City restaurant owner/chef on TV last night saying his energy costs would go up 40% if he lost his gas stoves and had to go electric.

When does the nanny state stuff end? We all gonna end up wrapped up in bubble wrap pajamas at home with a 911 necklace, 5 booster shots and a welfare check?

You know the next ban coming is NG fireplaces, then NG dryers, heaters, water heaters…..

This is insanity. We need new leadership and direction.

Yes I really miss leaded gasoline too. I remember those days where I would sweat 2-stroke exhaust fumes for two days after taking my snowmobile out for a ride. It's almost the middle of January now and no snow in the snow belt!

I'm rural meaning don't have natural gas so I don't miss having cheap heat. I also don't have high speed internet, only very expensive marginal wireless internet.

If I was serious about being environmentally conscious I would sell everything and move into a 500 sq.ft apartment in a high rise building, eat nothing but celery and granola, and walk to work at the communal garden grown in people turds. I would be thankful to the communist overlords flying around in their private jets around the world for meetings on how to reduce our carbon footprints.

Love the sarcasm, but I don’t miss leaded gasoline. Trudy will lead your peeps to the promised land. ;)
Getting rid of NG is foolish. Just ventilate with a stove hood or open the chimney flue on a NG fireplace.
We need common sense, not more regulations.

I wish our Canadian government would improve building construction standards and mandate energy efficient appliances be available in stores.

It's near impossible to buy energy efficient stuff here compared to the US and it's more than twice the price. Want a new energy efficient furnace? Why do you want that? We only sell the equivalent of a 4WD 10-passenger SUV that gets 14 gallons per mile fuel economy...why would you want a Prius?
