Came across this tiny bug on the wall in our spare bedroom upstairs in WA state (see photo). After some searching of bug pictures on the Internet, it appears to be a pseudoscorpion. Am I correct? Any other suggestions? It appears to be benign. At first I thought it was a tick but the pincers do not appear on ticks.

It sure looks like the tick from Hades :) Never seen anything like it. Please keep them on your end of the country :p

It's an arachnid for sure, and I agree that you should keep it over there.

Hey! It's a good guy and eats other noxious bugs. You can send them down here. We have plenty of other critters to keep them company.

Looks like it is pretty nasty. Bed-Bug that bites the stuffing out of you - LOL. Only good bug is a dead one but thanks for sharing the photo, never seen one of those before.

You are correct. Here are a couple pictures of the one I found in my house here in Mississippi. Definitely a "What in the heck is that?" moment when I found it. I'd never seen one before.
