PT 1850 + Cab

Does seem like a heck of a deal for a serious machine and atachements. Nice cab and AC too!!

I was going to join the bidding game. Unfortunately, for some reason, the seller does not want to give out the serial number. He did tell me that this unit only has 3 point hitch. The Cab looks really nice. I wonder who made it.

I wonder why they took the dual wheels off?

It looks smaller than my 1850. I'd be careful kids... That serial-number stuff makes me nervous.

If it has the 3-pin attachment method, it's a fairly old unit. That doesn't necessarily mean it's not in good shape, however. I'd ask questions about any hoses leaking, his procedure for hydraulic filter replacement (you want to know if he consistently replaced the filter and consistently bled the tram pump afterwards), etc.

Not giving out the serial number is odd. I would think if you had the serial number, you could ask Power Trac for some history on the machine, like year manufactured, engine, configuration, etc...

A while back there was a PT425 for sale that someone PM's me about. We blew up the photographs and the decals on the side looked to be obscured so we could not see if it was really a 425 or a smaller unit. Person was also vague on some details... again... buyer beware. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Man...that thing is up to $13K last time I looked! Somebody missed a deal by not using Buy-It-Now for $8K, didn't they?

Of course, it was bid up from $9100 in a bidding war by somone with 0 feedback, who ended up winning.

Hmm, that sort of always me me go hmm...

What are the chances that the second highest bidder ends up getting it? Or that we see it for sale again?
