Just wanted to quickly update this thread in case anyone finds it and wonders what the answer is/was. I wound up with the Brushcutt CP560. I've used it about 10-15 hours now, and it's perfect for this application, it's dramatically different than the EA cutter, I literally haven't put a scratch on this machine yet, both because it's built like a tank, but also the design is just right for what I'm doing. It's built to back over brush and eat it up, and it works spectacular and fast for this application. It even does a respectable job turning trees into mulch; no, it's not a mulcher, but it's not leaving huge pieces of tree either, this land will be clear of debris in a year or 2 just letting mother nature do her job. Here's a thread where I'm talking about it in more detail as well of some videos of it in action. Thank you to the poster who suggested it, I never would have found it otherwise and it's the right machine for my job.

I have been working on my 100 acres of over-grown farm land for ten years.Land had not been touched in at least a hundred years.Lots of thick brush;honeysuckle, red alder and all kinds of trash type trees. So thick in spots a beagle had a hard time going through it.
1.hired a small dozer to open a road in
2.hired two different fellows with 100 HP.tractors and large bush-hogs.
3.purchased my own tractor;first a 32 HP then a 44 HP(both with new bush-hogs)
4.last year hired a skid steer(65 HP) with a rotary head type cutter
a.cleared about 4 acres in two days but left a lot of scrap/pungi stakes.
5.last year;hired a skid steer (90 HP) with a FECON mulcher
b.cleared another 5-7 acres in three days, minimal clean up
6.Bottom line, hire it done with the proper equiptment

I have a question, after the trees were cut down by the forst mulcher, what about the stump under the ground? Such land will not be able for planting wheat or something else, so I m curious what to do with the stump under the ground.

The land that I've seen done with a mulch head, maybe.. Maybe you could no till in wheat, depends how deep they go with the head. Most of the time, they won't go but 1/2" or so below ground level, and if you try that, you'll be doing bad things to your drill. If it were me, and I wanted to plant that year, I'd probably go with a bulldozer, pull out the trees entirely, including the roots. If you have time, then mulch it and wait a few years for the stumps to decompose. But if your trying to plow it? A bulldozer would be a better option, at least for me, because it would take a long time with bigger trees to decompose enough to not to bad things to a plow going through the soil.
