PTO operating while off the tractor

Was mowing front pastures today and got off to get a drink from the fridge. Here is what the PTO indicator looks like when operating normally and after pressing the yellow button. It just reverses the image. After I returned and sat back down in the seat it went back to normal operation. It did get up to 95° before I stopped. Thank goodness for a cab and AC. My clock is wrong, mowed from 1100 to 1530.

Wood chipper.

niiiice didn't think about that one..... should be an over ride switch somewhere?? My wife actually suggested "we" need a wood chipper yesterday.

On my 25+ year old JG 870 you just tip the seat forward and pull up on the safety switch. Very straightforward. It seems to be more complicated on newer models.

Hey eagle1. That helps. How do you do that, go to gastronome get the one you want. Mine is actually a D5 M. I haven’t had it long. A 1998 model but low hours. I need to know the correct maintenance procedures. I get the specs off the internet but so far it s all I found. I know equipment better that I do the internet. But thank you a million

She sounds like a wise woman. I would keep her. What are you getting for a chipper?
